My grandmother made quilts out of satin ribbon. Has any one ever seen these or know anything about them?
I saw a picture of a cigar ribbon quilt, made from the ribbons wrapped around cigars. But basically you would sew the ribbons onto a precut foundation muslin square until the square was covered. You then sew the squares (or whatever shape foundation you choose) together into a quilt. Sandi of "Stitched Buy" www.stitchedbuy.com
