In his first post-election interview, John McCain said he "couldn't be happier" with his choice of running mate Sarah Palin. How do you think she affected the election -- and what lies ahead for her?
We Americans have a way of eating our young. Those we demonize one day, we worship the next. We haven't even dried the ink on this election, and we're already quashing the next? People, let's take a break! We have a new president - like his politics or hate them, he is OUR president. We have important issues before us NOW. Can we please get back to making America succeed today before we worry about who we can crush 4 years from now?
I think Sarah Palin is a wonderfully spirited educated woman! I do not think she hurt the campaign at all. I liked her answers to foreign policies much better than Biden. I feel she lacks experience, but but so does Barak Obama. I like what Barak has to say, i just have too many unanswered questions about his loyalty to the USA. Sarah would have made an excellent VP, however i dont think she was ready to run the country any more than i think Barak can. I think with a few years experience she could do a great job..and i think she should focus on 2012.
I wasn't thrilled with the choice of John Mcain to head the Republican ticket. The only 2 reasons I voted for him was that I definitely didn't like the Democratic choice and I was thrilled with his choice of Sarah Palin! I would definitely vote for her in 2012! I am just very upset about the reprehensibe behavior of her own party toward her in the election aftermath. purpleflirp303
This is a strong, motivated person...Leave out the fact that she's a woman, if you can...She has a strong sense of who she is, what's wrong in politics & would use common sense to right the wrongs...In other words...No politics as usual.
She is far better than any of the half wits that put her down
I feel that Sarah Palin should stay in Alaska and live happier ever after. She is a woman of very high character, charisma, honesty, and yes, intelligence. With our extreme, liberal, left wing media, and unfortunately ignorant, and easily misled electorate---quite frankly the Lower 48, in particular about 10 leftist states "do not" deserve her---or McCain for that matter. John McCain's interview was most sincere - I saw it myself. He is a funny, genuine person and had wonderful respect and admiration for his running mate. He is a classy, upstanding person. Those who criticized Sarah and the RNC for her clothing should also criticize Obama for his Hart/Marx Suits at $1500 retail, and Michelle Obama's boutique clothing at who knows what price. She certainly wasn't wearing JC Penney as she said. Sarah Palin is a rising star - watch out DNC, you will see her knocking down your door soon enough.
Sarah Palin did a wonderful job, was proper, represented conservative values, helped bring much of the Conservative base back to John McCain (though not all since many didn't like McCain) and I fully expect Mr's Palin to run in 2012. She already has my vote.
I have to laugh about claims Sarah Palin somehow hurt the ticket and the fact that she's still being attacked today because the people doing it are leftists trying to claim they want to help Republicans. Now THAT'S funny! They are scared to death that she will bring the full breath of Conservative values together in 2012 and dare not let up on trying to find fault with her which has so far proved to be an impossible task.
