Thanks for all the fish!

Sarah Palin and a turkey

Sarah Palin, with an unfortunate turkey in the background.  (Warning: The turkey part is a little disgusting.)

Any comments?

Very Interesting!

Whatever the guy was doing in background with that TURKEY ??? sure took him a long time to get it done!   Made me wonder if all staged (to have the turkey scene in back ground).

WHAT WAS THE GUY TRYING TO DO TO THAT TURKEY?

Tricia,

I don 't understand why you try to make something out of nothing.  Palin went to a turkey farm, she said she was trying to promote that business.  Lighten up!

You must be an Obama supporterInnocent, very critical of everything she does.  That's just my observation.

I don't see anything wrong with what she did, with what she said in the interview.

Rob,

That guy was butchering the turkey.  Of course he was taking his time, he knew he was the background for the interview.  I don't think it was staged,  I didn't see the reason why they would stage that.

I think Sarah Palin is a breath of fresh air because she doesn't worry about how things might be viewed ... she just does things and speaks her mind. I would rather have someone like her in charge of things than someone who is a great actor and liar and doesn't have a moral structure to support them.

DB, the only reason I questioned staged was in all that time HE NEVER seemed to accomplish anything with that turkey.  If he gets paid by the hour to procecss turkeys, the price of turkeys should start going up more than new cars from Detroit.  Surprised

I too think Sara is refreshing and "real"!   That's what makes the Washington regulars (demos and repubs) and the DC covering media uncomfortable or curious about her (or freaking out over her).   They are use to the phony people in politics who calculate EVERYTHING THEY SAy ... like putting a finger to the wind to test direction or doing a mini-poll in their heads ... BEFORE THEY SPEAK.  Then they try not to step on any toes (except the opposite party politicians)  and they try to be "politically correct."    The result is they come off so fake, but the media, the other politicians and even most Americans have come to expect and accept that now!

Then along comes a nice, smart lady and mother from Alaska and she just says what she honestly thinks and feels ... and it freaks out some in media and DC so badly they had kaniptions and started swinging at her like some animal they did not recognize was suddenly flying near them.   They are comfortable with fakes (on both sides of the isle) ... but god they freaked when a REAL lady who tells it honestly like she sees it came along and dropped the TELL EM WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR with a finger to the wind and full political correctness!

I don't know if I would want her for President yet.  But I sure thought she was smart, attractive, savy and real when she was suddenly thrust into the midst of the fake politicians and SCARED THE WHOLLY HELL OUT OF A LOT OF THEM.  Cool

Hi Rob, Sarah Palin is just a down to earth woman. I do think that she should be a Senator first to be recognized by people, just like Hilary Clinton. She needs more exposure in DC and learn more about foreign policies, be in daily contact with other politicians so that they will accept her more easily. She has to put up with the stupid drive by media and maybe BS with them sometimes. You know the saying play politics with the higher ups. She has the exposure already. She just have to have the proper politics lingo when she answers questions.

By the way, that man handling the turkey was aware he was being telivised so he did not do his job fast. I'm sure that when he's there by himself, he works faster.
