Sansa's fragile screen

I consider buying the Sansa e260, but I've heard that the screen is very fragile comparing to other brands.

Did anyone have any negative experience with the sansa's screen?

My sister has a Sansa, and indeed the screen broke after a minor hit. I remember reading somewhere another similar story.
