Sam Lesson Suicide over Bebo Internet Bullying

It is bebos fault in the sense that they are providing a environment in which it is seen as acceptable to do that sort of thing to other people. I think that bebo needs to take more resposibility for what happens on there site, as kids being kids just dont understand how much harm they are doing when they do such things.

My heart goes out to the parents and family.If  it makes them feel any better to blame bebo then let them.there grieving.Suicide is alot more than bullying on bebo.And to tell You the truth i wont get into that debate about bebo because iot doesnt matter.What matters is that yet another life has been lost to suicide.The signs are hard to notice but my quess is that Sam had changed along time ago suffering from a mental illness that is hard to notice.Suicide is hard for people to understand but if you look at it this way you might understand.Sams mind was gone,he was not thinking or functioning like so call normal people.He wasnt thinking of his parents,family or friends.He couldnt.His mind and body was in so much pain and distrat that he ended up taking his own life.You also have to remember that Sam wasnt even thinking about himself.Its a very thin line.I hope the parents and family and friends will get the help and support they need at this time.I would love to see more information and counsellors in schools in this day and age we need everything to help us.

In a way yes bebo can be the blame. Sam on several ocasions had elither been named called, picked on and bulied elither on bebo or in his own street. Sam might of felt depressed and annoyed that people can laugh and make fun of his likes to music and to his opinions on clothes.

This wouldn't affect my use of bebo as nat often i would have people writing nasty comments to me. But for some there is and Sam must of got the worst of it
