Are there any statistics or researches, that came up with the safest seats on a commercial aircraft, in case of emergency?
Love is the battery of life....
Hi,
Iv'e never flown on large passenger air craft but by some of the pictures I've seeen the tail is still intact if not engulfed by fire..have a safe trip..
Oron is right, but I'd like to simplify what he wrote. Researchers couldn't come up with a specific safe part of commercial aircrafts, But, statistic has been showing a consistent pattern of survivors seating close to an emergency exit. It might sound obvious, but keep in mind that those exits are placed both in the front and the back of the fuselage. Most deaths are caused by fire, and not from the impact cause from the crash. The conclusion is that the most influencing variable on survival chances is time and not location.
