Well Dedi, there's basically advertising or subscriptions. An example of the [advertising] model, would be [SaaS e-mail] Y! Mail (Yahoo!). The basic service is free -- no cost to the user -- but the screens will be replete with advertisements. Yahoo! attracts millions of users with their free SaaS offerings, and then charges advertisers for the privilege of placing their ads in front of all these "eye balls". Salesforce.com [SaaS CRM] on the other hand, charges a [subscription] fee directly, for use of their service...
