Of the three anti-virus software programs Webroot Spy Sweeper, Avast! and STOPzilla, which is the better? Is there another program which is better than either?

I would recommend Webroot Spy Sweeper since I have been using it as an antispy tool for years now and I have not encountered any problem. I have a bad experience in Avast, since a virus that slipped past its security and destroyed all my exe files on my pc so I have to reformat I would not vote for it.
I had a similar experience with Avast, although a lot of the magazines and e-mails recommend it. Makes me wonder whether there's a little money changing hands. (;-(
Just because I'm a girl, doesn't mean I don't know about IT training or even Network+ training .
I've heard nothing but good things about Avast. Personally I use AVG, however.
