SSDI Review Moratorium - Social Security Disability Ins. Cont. Benefit Review

Hello All.

I am on SSDI, and was due for my annual review this month, June 2008. I never received paperwork, so I went to my local Social Security office to ask why, and they told me there is a moratorium on reviews. I asked the gal when they would begin reviewing again, and she said 'when congress tells us we can'. I cannot find any information on the internet about a moratorium. Does anyone have any information about this?

 Thank You Very Much! Smile
