I saw your question and having been a long distance runner for over 30 years I'll give you my thoughts. To lose weight you only need to run or walk briskly for 30 minutes a day. Be sure you watch your diet while doing this. Stay away fron candy, cake etc. with sugar. Do not eat or drink items with high corn fructose, more sugar. You will be surprised how quickly weight can come off. Good luck!
