Runners problem

Regards, since last one and half year I am suffering from runners’ knee problem. Before that I used to run 15 to 20 kilometers at a stretch very easily. But one and half years back abruptly I stop all physically exercises but now I feel pains in my Knee while running or bending knees inwardly. I have a job of sitting on a chair approximately 8 hours a day. Please suggest me some particular websites, medicines, alternative medicines, exercises or physiotherapies. I will be thankful to you. I am a 35 years male.

I'm afraid you are not dealing with your problem properly. The knee is an extremely complex joint and any major problem with it should be treated professionally.

You must see an orthopedist and have him give you a thorough examination. Based on that he will suggest physiotherapy and possible medicine. Your problem is not for anyone in Yedda to suggest treatment.

first of all, see your doctor and get the proper tests completed.

you can always do the elliptical machine, or the stationary bike, or even the rowing machine...all low impact exercises with good cardio benefits. you may want to try walking instead of running until you figure out what is causing your pain.

you could also do some strength training exercises...basic exercises-light weights but increased reps. (i.e., lunges, squats, leg extensions).

but absolutely see a doc first.
