Asked about “Auto Repair - Automotive Maintenance, Troubleshooting and Ownership”

Rough running Jaguar.

Own a 2000 S type 4.0 Jag. Recently started idling rough, and missing while accelerating. I don't put many miles on the car(sometimes sits for a few days). Too much inactivity? Changed air filter and tried adding injector cleaner, to the gas. Didn't help. Any ideas? Also, I recently put the vehicle in storage for the winter(garage kept). Changed the oil, filled up gas tank, disconnected battery cables and installed the car cover. Enough protection for Michigan winter?
