Robotic vehicles


How long before full robotic vehicles will become available (like this one) are there any other all terrain transporter solutions.

I believe robotic vehicles will be closer to production in about 10 years. There is the DARPA yearly competition of driving a robotic vehicle through the desert in Nevada for about 100 km, so far no one could complete the task, but some of the biggest companies in the field are entering every year.

According to this file the pentagon is planning to have 1/3 of the ground operational vehicles unmanned by 2015.

Hi,


I am sure that robotic cars will be available B4 the turn of this decade (in other words late 2009 !!!!).  Some robotic vehicles are already in use.  We shall have (sooner as we expect !): robotic airplanes, ships, helicopters, etc.   This is not science fiction, it's behind the door......
Print this note and talk 2 me at 2013 we shall laugh how punctual I was.
