Does anyone have any information on a 19th century artist by the name of W. I. Kerr? I have a portrait of General Robert E. Lee that was painted by this person and I would like more information so I can date the portrait.
If you learn the answer I would be interested since Kerr is my maiden name and William is a popular name in our history. The Kerr's came from the North Carolina/Tennessee area and have been in this country since before the Revolutionary War. AVLGree2@aolcom
