Doctor; Your posted definition not withstanding, I maintain that there is, in truth, not such thing as "reverse discrimination"...If one distinguishes one person from another and either takes or does not take some action or opinion based upon that distinction, one has discriminated; there is no forward or reverse to it and if that distinction is based purely upon race, it is illegal.

Amazing, in one NEOCON opinion, we read that those who consider themselves political and economic progressives, are being financed by LIBERAL Super Billionaires, who having amassed their fortunes within their own lifetimes -- nothing inherited -- are dedicated to supporting the lazy, ignorant, non-working parasites.

Back in May, 1959, I seem to recall Senator Hubert Humphrey promoting public assistance be strictly within the Work Fare model.  No work -- no Eat.

If a recipient was mentally or physically disabled to a point of being totally unable to contribute anything, provide care as needed beyond the immediate family's ability.

Otherwise, everyone works for what public support they receive. Even if it is the entire family maintaining a public park or a school campus or landscaping around city/county/state/federal buildings and facilities -- or helping with janitorial duties.

Work Fare assembly facilities would provide a place for recipients to package or assemble products for industry, distributors, wholesalers or even retailers.

As a conservative Country Boy -- Humphey's Work Fare idea seemed very good.

But surprise, the conservative folks in the Senate and House objected. This Work Fare would subsidize business with cheap labor [Only if managers agreed to contract services at prices well below market], would subsidize government [Don't that translate to US] with FREE labor. Yep and save US labor costs. Put working people out of work -- OR PUSH THEM TO OTHER JOBS OR ADDED TRAINING TO QUALIFY FOR BETTER JOBS, which the Work Fare people could not perform.

Every action produces some reaction -- that's a well proven natural law.

When a PROGRESSIVE thinker, leader or group comes up with a workable solution to a growing public problem -- an answer to a question -- It is almost certain the Ultra-Conservatives, Conservatives, Neo Cons will come out with "knee-jerk" opposition.

The Republican Party I grew up in and worked in for the first decade of adulthood sought solutions, provide answers to questions, and after election time, worked with everyone to serve the people.

When "my' GOP embraced the racist, bigoted DixieCrats bolting the National Democratic Party's Civil Rights  position -- "my" GOP became a surrogate for the corrupt, racist professional thieves and parasites that had been embraced.

Despite all the NEOCON nonsense, the new president started reaching out to all Americans, seeking the best professional thinking, recruiting recognized leaders in every field and pursuing a pragmatic, centrist course.

The top leaders of nations around the world are expressing the same reaction as the leader who said last week, "It is rather nice to be able to have an hour's honest, rational discussion with an American President, without having to endure a half-hour lecture telling me about my country and "how great a world leader he is." 

Is anyone on the right paying any attention to facts and reality??

Pat D,  I quess its a god problem. He makes all kinds of distinctions just by selecting a bunch of genes and putting them together in any combination that pleases him.  Its only mankind that wants to make everyone equal.

I see liberals as those who are so superior to everyone including god to form or seek to form human society according to their wisdom as though every person except themselves is just a token on the board game of their choice.

What i see is the supreme need for people to be loyal to themselves and their kind.  This value makes the left-right spectrum irrelevant.  This value is contained in the following:

Africa for Africans, Asia for Asians, White Countries for Everybody 

The Netherlands is more crowded than Japan, Belgium is more crowded than Taiwan, but nobody says Japan or Taiwan will solve the RACE problem by bringing in millions of third-worlders and assimilating and intermarrying with them.

Everybody says the final solution to the RACE problem is for EVERY white country and ONLY white countries to bring in the third world and assimilate with them.

Immigration, tolerance, and especially assimilation are being used against the white race.

All this immigration and intermarriage is for EVERY white country and ONLY white countries.

In effect, all this immigration and intermarriage is a policy of genocide against the white race.

Bob - Thanks for an awesome post. Just the concept of showing people a way out of generational welfare would be wonderful for the entire country. The opportunity for folks to acquire skills that could be translated into full time employment opportunities would be very beneficial. Not to mention the personal benefit for earning your money. When the President gets time to catch his breath from these non-stop crises, I wouldn't be surprised if he addressed this problem. Thanks again, Bob. I hope you keep posting.

Dr. Stangelove - It is something that the race card has been played for so long by FAR Left Liberal Loons on behalf of the black culture - with feigned "discrimination" attached to the race card game - that any other person of a different race - when discriminated against - considers it - reverse discrimination - since "blacks" have had a monopoly on the race card.

Contrary to what certain posters falsely portray - as Liberal Loons and Far Left wingnuts, that Obama will fix things - when obama is behind the welfare mess - just as he is behind the housing and banking meltdowns - as an operative for ACORN,

Obama was schooled in the Saul Alinsky theory of community organizing - which involves EXPLOITING the welfare system, to place as many people on it - as a form of manipulating the system - and manipulating the people - as deadbeats of society.

ACORN was good at this type of community organizing - in which Obama was an operative for ACORN - living off the US taxpayer dollar - since the time that Obama first came to the United States - and at the time that he attended our American universities as a FOREIGN student.

Obama providing ACORN with direct access to over $8.5 BILLION from within his stimulus package - although the ACORN offices were raided during the presidential election for Fraud, Voter Registration Fraud and Vote Fraud -

indicates the means in which obama operates as a newly "elected" president - to provide pay-offs to his political contributors -

as what obama was doing since the time that he was a US Senator - abusing US taxpayer money - to provide improper earmarks for his friends, family members and associates - (most of which is under a criminal investigation).
