In Virginia, can an unloaded long gun (rifle/shotgun) be carried in a vehicle if the person transporting the weapon is an adult who can legally buy firearms (no felonies, etc.) and does not have a concealed weapons permit?
If it's not fun, you're doing it wrong.

These are links to Virginia's official website and the relevant laws for transporting firearms in that state. The short answer is yes and no. There are technicalities which the laws cover.
yes any adult with no felonies or charges of domestic violence or stalking or is on parole to the best of my knowledge can carry unloaded long guns such as for hunting target practice at a gun range or just purchased gun and are transporting it home we have the right to bear arms as long as it is done in a responsible manner but i encourage everyone to check local gun laws to be certain
