Retirement question

I've been working for a private doctor for over 20 years, Im curious to know approximately what percentage of my salary should my employer be putting into my retirement fund?

It depends on the pension plan your work has.  Sometimes a company will only put in if you also put in.  Some will give 5% if you give 2.5%, others will give more.  It completley varies.
