Retirement-health insurance/ medigap coverage in ontario, canada

I am 69, and have health insurance under my husbands employer. When he retires (soon) we would like to live near my daughters house- in Toronto, Canada.(We would keep an adress in USA) Medicare only covers emergencies abroad- Is there any medigap or other way to add coverage in Canada for regular doctors office and may be hospital?
