The Resurrection Earthquake and Day of Christ's death

An earthquake was written about in Matthew 28:2 in the Holy Bible King James Version. About when did this particular quake happen?  The earthquake was not needed to "let Jesus out" or to "loosen the stone", so why was there an earthquake, unless it was Jesus breaking loose from the hold of sin for which He had died.  The devil was not willing for Jesus to come alive and did his best to keep Christ down.  Death could not hold the Son of God.  So, when did this earthquake happen?  Is it documented?  It could tell when Jesus actually rose from the dead and also pinpoint his day of death.  I conclude that Jesus died a Weds day, put in the grave before 6pm. Thus there would be three nights and three days up to Saturday night 6pm.  Some time between 6pm Sat and when the sun rose on Sunday morning, Jesus rose from the dead and exited the tomb.  It is stated in the gospels that the day after Jesus died there was a special Sabbath (not a Sat) which makes Friday NOT the day Jesus died.  Am I right?

You mentioned a couple of earthquakes occurring. The quake that occurred on the afternoon of Jesus' death happened when Jesus took his last breath Matthew 27:51-54. Also, rock-masses were split which threw dead bodies from the tombs. A heavy curtain was also split in two also showing God's wrath against the killer of His Son and signifying that now heaven was opened to a select few (few because not all are invited). These miracles made the people scared. The officer in charge of the execution was convinced that this was God's Son! Many onlookers beat their chest in grief because they also were overcome by what just happened and they felt shame. Part 2: Matthew 28:1, 2 another quake took place on the day of Jesus' resurrection when the angel descended from heaven and rolled the stone away from the tomb. The death of Jesus was 33 C.E., evidence: Law of Moses states that Nisan 15 was a special Sabbath regardless of what day it fell on. If it coincided with an ordinary Sabbath, the day was known as a "great" Sabbath. John 19:31 shows that such a Sabbath followed the day of Jesus' death which was therefore on a Friday. Only in 33CE did Nisan 14 fall on a Friday. Matthew doesn't really list events surrounding his death in order but Mark, Luke and John does. Hope this helps.

I will be Happy too.

And He hath made my mouth like a sharp sword;  in the shadow of His hand hath He hid me,  and made me a polished shaft;  in  His  quiver  hath He hid me---Isaiah 49:2.

Now Lenett; a little help for the day of His rise from the tomb: a Day is counted from evening to themorning chapter 28 1: In the end of the sabbath as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, now this was the appearing of an angel of the Lord and the earth did quake from his arrival, however the Angel removed the stone. now back to the first day of the week, which is Sunday, so go back wards and you will see the DAY OF HIS CRUCIFICTION AND HIS RESURECTION.   OK now bear this one thing in mind, He arose on the third day not the fourth day, not the ending of the third day but on the third Day, then you will know the day of His crucifiction as well as His resurrection, so lets count it, and we will count it this way according to how God calls a day " The evening and the morning are a day" ok now from Thursday evening to Friday evening is a day, and Friday evening to and Saturday evening to Sunday evening is a day Saturday evening is a day, count them three days from Thursday till Sunday eve and He arose on the first day of the week and Sunday IS THE FIRST DAY, not Monday as the world would lie to you so as not to keep to Keep Gods sabbath, being Saturday,I fypu are not aware of this it can be showed also, even your preacher man at your church should be able to answer truthfully this as it was the Holy Roman empire who changed the days and the times.
