Did you stop eating in restaurants because of the recession?
Yes we eat at home now...With everything on the rise from High Utility prices and Food prices Going out is a thing of the past!!
75% yes
No! My husband and I continue to eat out on a regular basis. If something changes dramatically with either of our jobs, then we will have to cut back.
eating out was our first cut. Learning to cook!
Yes, from once a week to once a month plus eliminating a drink which can add $12.00 to the bill. My power bill went up 25% in Jan. grocery prices are unbelieveable, $4.00 each for anything you pick up. Just to maintain my home without any debt is a struggle. The word sacrifice is back in my life.
I needed to cut my spending quickly so by not going out for lunch, sit down restaurant, fast food, or delivery every day at work, I can save as much as $100.00 a week. I just take my lunch instead. Now I only go out to restaurants once in a while.
Of course. It was already difficult now that we have children, to find a kid friendly restaurant, but now that money is tight we have just learned to have fun eating at home.
I very rarely eat out anymore. We used to eat out at least 1 or 2 times every week without even thinking about it, but not now. Last night I broke down and got a Friday night takeout pizza...that was the first time in months.
