I am a Jamaican who has been in the united States for two months. How long to I have to be in the United States as a visitor before i can get the residency status
Love is the battery of life....
Hi,You confuse between 2 different things: As a visitor you can stay in the States as long as the entry visa is valid. If you applied for permanent resident than you'll have to hope you are granted it B4 your visa expires or you should extend the visa on the grounds that you applied for a permanent resident permit. Best regards,
