Reset the ipod

I went for a run and took my iPod with me. After 15 minutes of play, it just stopped and the screen is still on with backlit. How do I reset it?

hold dowm simultaniaslly the play and menu button for aproxx. 10 seconds. You should now see the apple logo.

what kind of model do you have? It depends upon whether it runs on a harddrive or flash memory.

Try holding down, plat and menu at the same time till an apple logo appears, or do the same with the play and pause button. Alternatively just toggle hold on then off
