How do you ignore the damage by the Republicans ...

How do you ignore the damage by the Republicans that you are so eager, albeit ignorant of any facts, to attribute to the Democrats?

The Republicannazis wanted and got their war and it put this nation into debt we will never repay even if taxes are raised 50%.

If the Republicans had not destroyed the financial sector with their greed there would be no need for the idiots who supported Bush - only to now have to give to those who he ruined - and it was the Republican lobbyists who were bought and paid for and only too willing to help pass legislation and skip the oversight on that allowed the mess we not have. It was a Republican administration and it was A Democratic minority for 6 of those eight years and you would ignore the truth of how we got into this mess as you are in denial or just to happy to let the truth get in the way of a good lie. Ask Newt Gingrich - you remember him don't you?

It's laughable when you see the complete ignorance on these posts with complete departure from reality and no accuracy - for exaple one fine old Republican, a good ol' boy do doubt, berated Jimmy Carter for creating the Department of Education. Well anyone with an IQ above a rock and sense of concern for accuracy knows it was created in 1867 by Andre Jackson and raised again to a cabinet level position by, and this is where it gets even better, now pay attention....Ronald Reagan in 1981.

This is simply one instance of creating lies or perhaps just lavishing is denial and ignorance that Republicans are so tickled to share with us since they have nothing else to offer but lies or shameful criticism.

Consider Bush's penchant for blowing up frogs, and hiding his 1976 drunk driving conviction by obtaining a new Texas driver license and, or the fact he was AWOL from the Texas Air National Guard. You Bush supporters bought into his nonsensical and in hindsight, a proven lie of being a "compassionate conservative" and "a uniter not a divider" who was going to "restore honor and dignity to the White House."

Bush was not an imbecile. He was not a puppet. Bush was and is a sociopathic personality. He's incapable of empathy. Psychiatrists claim he is a passive serial killer who needed to feed his lust for blood by sending others to put their lives on the line and do the killing for him. He has an inordinate sense of his own entitlement, and he's a very skilled manipulator. And in all the snickering about his alleged idiocy, this is what a lot of people miss.

You Repubicanazis wanted a war and now you have it right here is America. It's against right and wrong, good and evil, greed and less greed, givers and takers, the educated and the uneducated and the list goes on.

America voted to give us relief from the utter disgrace of the most powerful man in the world being such a ridiculous buffoon, incapable of stringing together two coherent sentences. You can thank Republicans for Obama after being represented by a man who embodies everything our enemies want the people of the world to believe about America -- that we are ignorant, cruel, and only care about foreign countries when we decide to stomp on them.

America was tired of his giggle, and his shoulder shake, and his nicknames. Tired a president who talks to us like we're a nation of fourth-graders. Tired of Dick Cheney. Fed up with the man whose naked contempt for democracy contorted his face to a permanent sneer, who spent his days in his undisclosed location with his man-sized safe.

America was tired of Cheney's consigliore David Addington, as malevolent a force as has ever left his trail of slime across our federal institutions. America was tired of the entire band of liars and crooks and thieves who have so sullied the federal government that belongs to us all. How do you explain the destruction of Rummy and Scooter, to Fredo and Rove, and the tornados of misery left in their wake.

America voted for Obama because they were fed up the rotating cast of butchers manning the White House's legal slaughterhouse, where the Constitution has been sliced and bled and gutted since September 11.

America was fed up with the "unitary executive" theory and its claims that the president can do whatever he wants -- even snatch an American citizen off the street and lock him up for life without charge, without legal representation, and without trial.

America was fed up with the promiscuous use of "signing statements" (1,100 at last count) to declare that the law is whatever the president says it is, and that he'll enforce only those laws he likes. America was fed up with Bush and his supporters like you for an executive branch that treats lawfully issued subpoenas like suggestions that can be ignored.

America was fed up with the culture of incompetence, where rebuilding a country we destroyed could be turned over to a bunch of clueless 20-somethings with no qualifications save an internship at the Heritage Foundation and an opposition to abortion.

America was fed up with handing out the Medal of Freedom as an award for engineering one of the greatest screw-ups of our time. America was fed up with an administration that welcomed gluttonous war profiteering, that was only too happy to outsource every government function it could to well-connected contractors who would do a worse job for more money.

America was fed up with the Bush Doctrine of preemptive war. Obama was elected because America was fed up with the lust for sending off other people's sons and daughters to fight and kill and die just to show your daddy you're a real man. America was fed up with a buffoon playing dress-up in flight suits, America was fed up with the strutting and posing and desperate sexual insecurity as a driver of American foreign policy.

America was fed up with the neocons, so sinister and deluded they beg us all to become fevered conspiracy theorists. America was fed up with Guantanamo and its kangaroo courts. Obama was elected because America was fed up with the use of torture as official U.S. government policy, and Obama was elected because America was fed up with the immoral ghouls who think you can rename it "enhanced interrogation techniques" and render it any less monstrous.

Obama was elected because America was fed up with the accusation that if you disagree with what the president wants to do, you don't "support the troops." Obama was elected because America was fed up with stocking government agencies with people who are opposed to the very missions those agencies are charged with carrying out. Obama was elected because America was fed up with putting industry lobbyists in charge of the agencies that are supposed to regulate those very industries.

Obama was elected because America was fed up with madly giving away public lands to private interests. Obama was elected because America was fed up with a Food and Drug Administration that acts like a wholly owned subsidiary of the pharmaceutical industry, except when it acts like a wholly owned subsidiary of the fundamentalist puritans who believe that sex is dirty and birth control will turn girls into sluts.

Obama was elected because America was fed up with the "global gag rule," which prohibits any entity receiving American funds from even telling women where they can get an abortion if they need it. Obama was elected because America was fed up with vetoing health insurance for poor children but rushing back to Washington to sign a bill to keep alive a woman whose cerebral cortex had liquefied.

Obama was elected because America was fed up with the ban on federal funding of embryonic stem-cell research. Obama was elected because America was fed up with the philosophy that says that if we give tax cuts to the rich and keep the government from any oversight of the economy, prosperity will eventually trickle down.

Obama was elected because America was fed up with the thirst for privatizing Social Security and to the belief that the success of a social safety-net program is what makes it a threat and should mark it for destruction.

Obama was elected because America was fed up with the war on unions and to a National Labor Relations Board devoted to crushing them. Obama was elected because America was fed up with the principle of loyalty above all else, that nominates Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court and puts Alberto Gonzales in charge of the Justice Department.

And Obama was elected because America was fed up with that Justice Department, the one where U.S. attorneys keep their jobs only if they are willing to undertake bogus investigations of Democrats timed to hit the papers just before Election Day.

Obama was elected because America was fed up with a Justice Department where graduates of Pat Robertson's law school roam the halls by the dozens, where "justice" is a joke. Obama was elected because America was fed up with James Dobson and a host of radical clerics picking up the phone and hearing someone in the White House on the other end only too willing to front for the clueless, gutless right.

Obama was elected because America was fed up with the most consequential decisions being made on the basis of one man's "gut," a gut that proved so wrong so often that we may never heal, never be whole or repaired. America is in a state of ruin following the Republicans getting what they wanted and never has a foreign agressor done to America what the Republicans did from within - with yorur support and encouragement.

Obama was elected because America was fed up with the contempt for evidence, to the scorn for intellect and book learnin', to the relentless war on science itself as a means of understanding the world. Farewell, Farewell, Obama was elected because America was fed up with it all. Though President Obama will be spending most of his time cleaning up the mess George Bush made, we probably won't have Dubya to kick around anymore. It's hard to imagine Bush undertaking some grand philanthropic effort on the scale of the Clinton Global Initiative, or hopping around to international trouble spots like Jimmy Carter.

Republicans won't be asking him to speak on their behalf, and publishers are reportedly uninterested in the prospect of a Bush memoir. His reign of destruction complete, Bush has returned to Texas to fill his days with the mundane activities of a retiree -- puttering around the yard, reading some magazines, maybe enjoying that new Xbox Jenna gave him for Christmas ("I'm the Decider, and I decide to spend this afternoon playing Call of Duty 4"). He will do it all without giving the mess he handed Obama a second thought. His job was done. Mission accomplished.

While the Bush presidency is finally over and a new president elected, the scope and magnitude of the ruination of America by the Bush adminstraton and his supporters, is just fully beginnning to be calculated.

We may think Obama was elected because America was fed up with an administration whose misdeeds have piled so high that the size of the mountain no longer shocks us. However, it was much worse than that.

In our lifetimes, we will see administrations of varying degrees of competence and integrity, some we'll agree with and some we won't. But we will probably never see another quite like the one like Geroge W., so mind-boggling a parade of incompetence and malice, dishonesty, and immorality. We may have said goodbye to George, but say hello to the aftermath we have yet to uncover fully and of course, assign blame to the Democrats.

None only ignorant misinformed democrats that buy into the media bullspin about everything you just posted most of which have been debunct and shown to be lies. Hope you enjoy the socialist regime your prez is creating now. And don't come crying to conservatives when he tells you how much you can earn and how much you have to give to those who don't contribute, oh well you're probably one of those right?
