Reprint books

If theres a book our of print i want to get...is there some kind of company that will republish the book so I can get it?ive been dying to get Jim Button and luke the engine driver by michael ende....I can only find it in german or for like $400...Plus theres many other books im trying to find...

I think it would cost the company too much money to reprint the book just for one copy.  Have you tried Amazon.Com?   Or E-bay?  Sometimes, you can find old books at these sites.
