A:

Kid there are at least four or five different kind of atheist, there are at least three different kind of Believers in Christ as well as any belief system Orthodox, Conservative, and Liberal the only believer in Christ who will not be rejected at the Judgment seat of Christ is the true saint of God (true Christian) which I would categorize as Orthodox. If we do not serve God with all our heart, mind, soul, body and strength we could be denied eternal life, Jesus and the Apostles taught this to be a fact. The book the Lord gave me to publish (The Seven Churches of Asia/ Revelation 2-3) found on any major online book store and at www.thesevenchurchesofasia.com shares many of the parables, and scripture references found in the epistles about this fact.

We cannot live the world's concept of what it is to be a Christian, and expect God to accept us; Jesus is our example of what is an acceptable relationship with God. The same power that dwelt in Jesus for Him to obey God, as He did, dwell in a Holy Spirit filled Christian to obey God to the same extreme. From the time we are born-again until we die in Christ, God works with us to bring us into the same example of obedience to God as Jesus is.

What made Jesus the Son of God (God's righteous nature) now dwells in the heart of a born again believer to make us sons/daughters of God. Without God's righteous nature we have no part in the kingdom of God or the kingdom of Heaven. What I have just written is a very simple synoptic statement of a very spiritual and complex fact of the Kingdom, but easily understood by a Holy Spirit filled Christian.

I wrote this in reply as an agreement with what you wrote about believers not hearing all there is to living an acceptable walk with God, Paul referred to a true walk with God as “a living sacrifice.” The book the Lord told me to write was published to get this message into the hands of those Believers who are not hearing the message the book contains. The book contains a very serious message that all believers who want to receive eternal life need to read.

My first sentence at the beginning of this comment about atheist was written for this reason: even though it appears to be a waste of time to share Jesus with an atheist not all atheist are as obstinate about their denial of God as another would be, just like any other sinner (a religious sinner as well) who does not “know” Him. Jesus and the Apostles spoke to people who were bound in just as much “darkness” as an atheist; some believed them while others walk away in disbelief, some angry others wanting to hear more. I am of the opinion that if an atheist is sharing on the topic of religion they are totally unaware that their heart is crying out for the Savoir even though their carnal mind is totally oblivious to the fact the Jesus is the one their heart is looking for. It behooves us as children of God not to write them off as a waste of time, Jesus didn’t. (Pharisees and Sadusees)

DidYouKnow writes:  Obstinacy has nothing to do with nothing.  As for 'denial', the denial is on the same plane of a Samucide's "denial" that reincarnation is a lark.  Samucide would have no bona fide reasons to accept the assertions from a believer.  It is the same with "atheism" concerning asserted gods.  That atheism evolves into agnostism once the mind gets away from earth.

DidYouKnow writes:  This is incorrect.  All of those people had minds wrapped in superstition that believed in God, or in a god.  What was difficult was to accept a bloke walking around "claiming", just saying, he was a son of God, and that he was somehow special.  Those people were correct to be sceptical, since in those times it was a dime a dozen occurrence for people to claim divinity.  Were there Muslims waiting at the end of the street for school kids to be dimissed, and those Muslims preached as Jesus did, plenty of people would feel umbrage.

DidYouKnow writes:  Then you have a specious opinion, a self-serving opinion.  Plenty of people have argued about, spoken about, written about religions, including Christianity.  And not for any of the your "opinion" reasons.  Einstein, Sagan, Twain, Jefferson, Lincoln, Dawkins, Steve Allen....just to name a few, who would not be part of the self-serving opinion about a subliminal pining for God and Jesus and all the trappings.

DidYouKnow writes:  It better behooves the apologist to be honest.  Rather than the standard preachments, the believer should be responsible and able to dissect the Bible, page by page, instead of the usual gloss-over, the usual pick and choose, the usual obfuscations, the usual circular reasoning.

DidYouKnow writes:  Jesus was the world's worst, since his main message was, "My way or the hellway."  He didn't have any answers for the obvious shortcomings, for the harder questions.  His mantra was "just believe."  Like a TV evangelist cries out:  "It's not our Christain duty to ask, to wonder, to think!  Our job is TO BELIEVE!"

That sorry idea is the Achille's Heel of Jesus and those like him, who think that just saying something is true is all there has to be.

When read pristinely, the Holy Bible is anything but holy.  Contradictions, galore.  Absurdities abound.  Tall stories, the norm.  The Holey Bible, a more apt name.
