I have a Chamberlain screw drive garage door opener and the rack has quit working (the rack just chatters and does not move). I have ordered a new rack, can I install this myself? I assume that due to proximity to the wall of the track end, I must lower the track a bit to slide the old rack off and the new rack on, does the old rack just slide of , and the new rack slide on or is thjere some cosmic thing I must do to fix this problem?
