Replace an old, leaking water pipe system/connectioni/joints.

Morning Mr. Stromer,

My home is 23 years old.  The water lines are breaking at the connections/joints which causes not only a waste of water but has damaged my floors and insulation.  I have been told the entire pipe system including the conncections/joints is an old grey pvc and I need to have the entire system replaced. 

What pipe would you recommend:  pex (?), cpvc, ???.  Better yet, why don't you replace the entire system and use that on one of your shows?

Jerry find out the correct type of sealant for your PVC pipe system and clean and reinstall them. You may save yourself thousands of dollars!
