Manuka natural remedies
(deleted account)

Hello, Scalp infections are common in children of this age, we recommend a dermatitis pack containing Manu 25% Manuka oil, Manuka UMF honey cream containing 30% Manuka honey and Manuka soap. These products are natural, very mild on the skin, but also strongly antibacterial and antifungal and have been highly effective in treating a wide range of scalp infections. http://www.manuka-nz.co.nz/

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Mark Twain.

Neem oil is one of the most potent oils for skin conditions as its anti bacterial, anti viral and anti fungal. It can also be ingested if you get it from a herbalist. another very strong herb is tumeric and can be mixed with food and taken on a daily basis without any side effects.

I would also suggest that you use all natural shampoo's and soap as you lil' one may be allergic to some chemicals present in the shampoo/soap you are using.  (Burts bees or Waleda products are excellent)

Here are some sites which may provide you with more info. I hope this helps as I know how difficult it can be for kids...my 19 month old suffers from eczema .

Neem and manuka are both good suggestions, however Emu Spirit emu oil is excellent for psoriasis, internally and/or topically. Make sure you get Emu Spirit as their oil is far more potent than other emu oils - but no more expensive. You can reach them at emuspirit.com. I've used their oil for arthritis and recommend it highly.
