Removing red es logo from internet web site page tab?

On internet exploer windows page top 2nd icon has a red Es in front of aol. I have seen this red Es logo before but on a spanish learning web page. .

Question: what is this es doing on and infront of aol internet expoloer tab ? How do I remove this red es logo from the internet tab showing aol.?
