Removing paint from shingles

How to remove paint from roof shingles?

Well I took on my painting project of paint my new two dormers.

I went up and caulked them and painted the stain on each of them and yes I made some messes...

I did drop some paint and calk on my black roof.. What can I do to remove/cover up white primer and calk...

Is there any tricks to painting a step roof and what to  hold on to... If  I grab the top shingles Ill get paint on it...

Do it yourself - it's fun

You can CAREFULLY use something like Goof Off to dissolve the paint, but

don't use enough to soak into the shingles as it will damage them.

Alcohol will dissolve the paint while doing minimal damage, but it is

very slow acting.  The simplest thing might be to simply paint the

paint, perhaps after using Goof Off on the worst of the spots.

I dropped white paint on my new shingles and then covered the white paint with

a thin  layer of black roofing caulk/adhesive
