These are some natural cures for yeast infections :
1) Honey relieves itching: apply externally only for about an hour at a time.

2) Oil of Oregano has a high carvacrol content, an anti-yeasting agent . Apply as often as required until symptoms subside.

3) Yogurt contains a friendly bacteria called Lactobacillus acidophilus, it kills yeast by producing hydrogen peroxide. Yogurt can be applied internally (use a syringe, or make some frozen yogurt lollies - get creative). Eating yogurt (with live cultures) will also help.

(Products that contain antibiotics and even some strong cleansing soaps can actually kill off the friendly bacteria that we require to fight yeast.)

Note : These natural cures for yeast infections can be quite slow acting and results may vary per person, and at best are only temporary solutions (yeast infections "candida albicans" are infamous for reoccurring).
For a permanent, very quick (12 hours),  and safe solution I suggest that you visit natural cures for yeast infections .

Good luck and I hope the natural cures for yeast infections info comes to good use.

Use of garlic is another remedy or natural cure for treating yeast infections . Make a paste using garlic cloves and apply to the affected area. For a vaginal yeast infection, you can also slice the garlic cloves and wrap with a clean piece of cheesecloth and then insert into the vagina for around a half hour. The garlic may somewhat sting, but is equally effective.

I have had many and like the others it should come with discharge, but it should not smell. If it smells then it's a bacterial infection.

Creams never worked for me they only made it worse.

I tried diflucan and it worked for the first 2 infections i had but after that i have had 4 and the pill has not worked! I found you could use herbal remedies and it works great!

Be careful of antibiotics, they will get rid of the problem but not the underlining cause and it will keep on coming back because the infection will hide.

Yeast infection are so annoying.
Antibiotics kills not only the bad bacteria but also the good bacteria in the vagina.
Since you are not suseptible to yeast infections, ask your doctor for the 1 pill ( but it costs around $10.00) or just do the Monistat treatment.
While you are going through this, expect itching and possible discharge.. Do not douche during this time either...
Eat lots of yogurt during antibiotic treatment, it puts back the PH balance in the vaginal wall..
Avoid sex during this treatment also....

Hi,

If you're sure it's a yeast infection, you can treat it by:

- Avoiding sugar as much as possible (yeast live on sugar).
- Eating SUGAR FREE yogurt with live acidophilus cultures, at least two cups every day.
- Eat lots of garlic, which is anti-fungal.
- Apply the SUGAR FREE yogurt to the affected area for a few minutes three times every day.
- Apply crushed garlic (as pasty as you can make it) to the affected area for a few minutes, three times per day.

Following the above home remedies should have you all cured within a week. If you are still not better in a week, time to see the doctor. Best of luck!

You need to be sure that it is actually a yeast infection. If it is you can use the over the counter medication for yeast infection that women use. Just buy it in the tube, not pre -filled applicators. Apply it 3 to 4 times a day. Keep using for 5 to 7 days even if you feel better, otherwise it will come back. Eat yogurt, try not to eat sugar.

Also, a doctor can prescribe a pill that you could take.

Good luck
