Consider this if you might... Jesus IS The ONE Christ but His physical form of water and a few minerals is NOT what is actually being referenced here. People often ASSUME it is because they typically identify themselves only with their own physical body. But eventually we learn that we are far more than these physical bodies. Through the supreme act of Grace we realizethat we are Consciousness itself.. not seperate from the ONE Christ Consciousness in any way.
So, Jesus was referencing his unmanifest Self, His Christ Consciousness .. which is the same in all, (though hidden from us. ) and not simply his physical form. Truly The Christ is UNLIMITED and can manifest in and as any form IT chooses. Yes, these Great BEings such as Jesus were/are exceedingly rare .. however these blessed Grace Bestowers are not quite SO rare as some religions might have us believe.
No one belief system "corners the market" if you will ... on Grace. These rare Grace Bestowers are really not concerned with any particular religion or belief system, though quite often religions will spring up around such a ONE...and unfortunately most of the time WILL twist or misconstrue their highest 'Transcendent' teachings.
In an effort to try and understand God, THAT which is INFINTE Consciousness... the finite mind of man inevitably tries to bring God down to their level.. but truly God cannot be known, ...in ITs totality... in this way. For That one must seek Grace.. Grace being the actual ACTIVE Aspect of the Divine ONE..
It is true that it is not by good works alone that one can earn Grace.. Grace is the ultimate Gift...which reveals directly our own CHRIST ESsence to us. In fact, there is actually NOTHING we, as indivudal finite beings, could possibly do to buy this most profound and very hidden Truth.

The good news is that Once Grace actually does strike, in its own perfect time, one who possesses a pure Heart will be able to HOLD that Grace and Recognize ITs true value. Just as a blind man cannot see the sun rise, a mind which is taken up with negativities and unloving thoughts will find it EXTREMELY difficult to recognize The Divine ONE... even AS the ONE stands right before them. Truly.. only the deluded assume they will be able to recognize The One Christ when THAT ONE manifests before them. It is ALL about RECOGNITION of what already IS. Only a pure Heart can perceive The Divine in ITS fullness. Many have in fact walked right past The Christ and NEVER had an incling. Such is the wonder of this Most Divine Play of Consciousness.
As an ancient and profound teaching states .. {{{ From the Perfect comes the Perfect. If the Perfect is taken away only the Perfect remains. }}} It is only because of the veiling ego that we EXPERIENCE imperfection where ultimately.. ONLY Perfection exists. Truly ...no evil, no fear, and no doubt can enter the Divine Heart.
Here, in this MOST Profound space of Divine Love, no oppositional force can exist, since One is indeed ONE and NOT two. : ) Therefore the Divine Heart alone is Truth Absolute. True Saints of all Spiritual traditions have more than suggested that we seek this Divine Heart within and once revealed enter in and roam there with great delight.

In conclusion...
Jesus is not simply about getting our individual souls to a Heaven. The true purpose of one such as Jesus is that of Grace Bestower.. the power which awakens the individual soul to their True SELF.. Jesus revealed from within ... our own Divine Nature, our own Christ Consciousness. Jesus is The ONE as we are ALL the ONE.
To the unawakened mind, one not yet touched by the supreme act of Grace, this may sound a tad heretic.. and yet, once the veil of ignorance has been lifted the Supreme Truth is perceived. The ultimate Truth of ~ I AM. ~ is understood.
So indeed.. Give The Christ a chance BUT be mindful not to LIMIT The Limitless ONE. Do not assume you KNOW just yet the Transcendent and unlimited nature of that ONE Christ, OR exactly how The Divine One reveals. Whatever our finite mind THINKS it is.. will NOT be it. We can know certain aspects of The ONE yes, but the ultimate Truth of The ONE is reserved for God alone. Grace alone ALLOWS Entry into that ONE Divine State of Pure BE~ing.

Not looking for agreement here.. since Truth Absolute can never be simply an intellectual exercise ... but only suggesting that Jesus and ALL Divine Forms of The ONE Christ have far more to offer than is generally available to the finite mind or the hallways of religion. Those who are wise enough to seek THAT , will eventually FIND That. One's religion or belief syste really has nothing to do with how Grace choses to strike. The Divine ONE has its own criteria. In other words if God wants us to KNOW something trust me ... we WILL KNOW it : ) But in God's time.. not ours.
I understand that very few will agree with the words above... and that is also fine. The Divine One has ITs ways and they are indeed mysterious.
