~ The Heart is the hub of all sacred places, go there and roam ~

A:

Anna to DYK ...Your posts sound like YOU are a pagan.

For the sake of clarity here.... could you please define what YOU mean by pagan?       I have found that .. at times... People throw that label around to denote any belief system that does not support their own.  Wikipedia gives a fairly thorough overview of the MANY different views that  come under the Pagan "umbrella."       Just something to consider...  by its most pure definition Jesus would have qualified as a pagan.

It has been suggested that the word  pagan was purposefully corrupted in order to  turn people against those of conflicting ideologies in an attempt to discredit them.  Looks like the plan worked.

At any rate, this actually points out just one of the MANY problems of reading Ancient  and translated scripture in current times.... Language, being quite dynamic, evolves... sometimes dramatically, sometimes more subtly.     Just food for thought.    Peace

Paganism (from Latin paganus, meaning "country dweller", "rustic")[1] is a word with several different meanings.

In its broadest definition, pagan denotes all non-Abrahamic religions, that is to say it denotes all religions other than Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

~ If one were to ask Jesus which was  The RIGHT religion  He would most likely tell you that it  is the one which helps us to get in touch with our Hearts and perceive the Sacred Divine within everyone.  ~

If you must know, this is the one:

In its broadest definition, pagan denotes all non-Abrahamic religions, that is to say it denotes all religions other than Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

"in touch with our Hearts and perceive the Sacred and Divine within everyone."

I agree with you Faith.  That is what Jesus, thru the Christ Presence within himself, preached.

I think that  "broadest"  definition of paganism is a definition that has evolved a bit too broadly if it hampers us from finding that Divine Spark in everyone.
