Scholars had managed to agree that Malchisedec was the king of ancient Jerusalem, which is mentioned as 'Salem'. It gets complicated now- The debate is on Malchisedec's Mortality. Some believe that he was some kind of god's representative, while other stick to theory that he was mortal. So the question where is he now actually depends on your personal view on that issue.

Some theologians believe that Melchisedec was the pre-incarnate Christ. Ergo;He was from Heaven.

Actually, Melchisedec isn't a "he", but a "they". Melchisedec is a title, rather than the name of one man.

Melchisedec is a position created in the government of GOD for the Fallen Cherub Lucifer. Lucifer fell and became Satan. The position remained. The person Abraham met returning from the slaughter of the kings was none other than Satan himself. There is a reason Abraham told him he wanted nothing from him. The fact of the matter was Satan offered Abraham a son. Satan is today the king of Salem he is running the government of Jerusalem and every other city on this planet. Jesus Christ will ultimately over throw Satan’s government on earth and the saints will inherent the position GOD set up before the world was for us. The final battle will be for Jerusalem between Satan, the antichrist, and the false prophet, against Jesus Christ in his second coming. After the thousand year reign of Jesus with the Saints over this world. The saints of GOD will have the position of the Melchisedec Priest hood. I am only giving you the information you will need more than your brain to understand this.

Melchisedec was Shem, the son of Noah. He was the only connecting link between the line of Adam after the flood.

If u want to know about Melchisedec read chap. 7 of Hebrews N.T.     Below is from Genises chap. 14 Vs. 17-24

14:17 The king of Sodom went out to meet him, after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer and the kings who were with him, at the valley of Shaveh (that is, the King’s Valley). 14:18 Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine: and he was priest of God Most High. 14:19 He blessed him, and said, “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth: 14:20 and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” Abram gave him a tenth of all.

14:21 The king of Sodom said to Abram, “Give me the people, and take the goods to yourself.”  (the king of Salem, & the king of Sodom, r 2 different kings)

14:22 Abram said to the king of Sodom, “I have lifted up my hand to the LORD, God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth, 14:23 that I will not take a thread nor a sandal strap nor anything that is yours, lest you should say, ‘I have made Abram rich.’ 14:24 I will accept nothing from you except that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men who went with me: Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre. Let them take their portion.”
