Relationships

I've been seeing a guy for 6mon now. We both went into this not wanting a relationship. We act like we are in one but we say we're not.I had a talk with him about commiting and he says we'll never go past what we are now...but he acts one way and says another. He used to be bad about certain things and i got him to change those bad ways. He sends mixed messages and I don't know what to do. He treats me better than he has most girls hes dated.Could there be somthin more? Should I stop talkin to him?

The less that you give you're a taker

He's probably acting like he thinks you need him to, but when he talks he's letting you know how he really feels. If he already said there will be nothing more than what you have now, then don't make your own life more complicated trying to twist him into something he's not, or not yet. He probably really is interested in you, just not the way you need him to be. I guarantee you he doesn't feel like he needs fixing, so if you try to do that he'll only resent you for it.

Live simply, love generously, care deeply,

speak kindly, leave the rest to God.

Hi,

You cannot really change another person, he may change temporarily just so you won't be upset.  So I could tell that he is not ready for a commitment.  Why force him when he's not ready?  He also appears to be immature and does not know what he wants in life.

You need to just move on, find a man who is more mature and is ready for commitment.  This is not easy to do but you need to decide what is good for you and what will make you happy in the future.  Take care.

Hello:

I know what you are feeling. I went out with a "boy" (man..36 years!!) but he behave like a teenager and gave me the same mixed messages like your friend.. but believe me at the end people don´t change that much. He was a great guy and changed almost for year and a half, we had a great time but I think he was not a keeper, you know.

If this guy already told you not expect too much, so what are you doing there? if you want an open relationship or something like that this must be the boy, but if you want something serious... get out of there... a lot of guys are looking for real love...

Good luck!!

Listen to what the man tells you and don't ignore it in hopes to change it. Because he will serve it to you for breakfast when you least expect it. You do not need to stop seeing him, but control your feelings because you will get hurt do not make it more than what it is. He has made himself clear from the very beginning. Good luck!
