i was issued service visa for dubai on 22nd july. however due to some reason i was not able to fly to dubai within the visa's validity period wch expired on 4th aug, 2008. i want to know how much time it will take for me to now get the visa renewed.

It really depends on how quickly you can file the necessary paperwork to re-apply for the visa.
