Of course you can, they may lose a little of their flavor, but otherwise there is no reason why you can't. However try not to refrigerate tomatoes of any kind if at all possible as it can greatly decrease their flavor. Try to leave them out on a counter or in a basket. Once they are cut, of course they need to be refrigerated, but, other than that leave them at room temp. for maximum flavor. I just had fresh from the garden tomatoes tonight for dinner, yum, yum, yum!

Victims of circumstance owe it to fate. Victims of choice owe it to themselves.

Do you think that there are tomato plants in heaven?

There'd better be, I 'll just die without my tomatoes!

Annette, I had to chuckle at your answer, but I don't know how to get to heaven without dying.  LOL   Seriously, your answers to some of these posts are excellent.  Keep up the good work.

I would say *YES, although I haven"t tried this. Try it and taste them. It couldn't hurt anything.
