Refinance or Sell
In 2005, with our primary NY home mortgage free, we bought a vacation condo in Lake Worth, FL for 159,000-now, there are over 70 comparables for sale at 120,000. Our mortgage is 680.59 a month-maintenance 451 a month. We snowbird 3 months a year. Retired at ages 74 & 79, we have some CD's, fixed annuities and IRA's totalling about 193,000-pension 825 a month and SS 1655 a month. We try to be thrifty and have no other debts. This past winter we drove back and forth to FL. However, I feel we're using up too much of our retirement money. We don't want to move to FL or rent the condo. Should we try to refinance or sell?
