Time flies like an arrow.

Fruit flies like a banana.

Red Universe and Blue Universe

I listen to people talking about Bush or Obama and it seems as if they live in two different, self-contained universes, where the same words (patriotism, honor, integrity to name a few) have different meanings and the same events are seen and described in different and contradictory ways.  Each universe finds the talk and the people of the other to be incomprehensibly evil.  But within each of the two universes we have now, there are many differences of opinion that do not fracture their unity, as the unity of America is now fractured.  Within each universe, we can understand each other well enough to talk, debate, argue, and remain in the same universe.  So how come we have the two universes we have now in America, and how can we bring them together and make them one?

It's a waste, political gossip and conspiracy theories.  Shameful that people buy it, drama queens the worst indulgent in this.  Watch out, drama queens use and abuse you, don't get too friendly they turn like rabid dogs.

That is a mouthful for a question!  I think it has something to do with improper schooling.  People tend to vote that one sided as a family.  This thought of course is the family knows better.

I having an eclectic upbringing; one that was not only diverse in political stances but one that encouraged book smarts.  This allowed me to choose one political party that at first I believed in.  Then seeing that this party no longer stood for my values as I grew up and older changed to the 'opposite'.

The system is horribly flawed; at this point and I think the new administration will repair it to a degree; this will leave of course the angry in play to want to change it back to be blinded as to what is going on in politics.

I like that post you wrote in media and the permission of those being pictured dead in the spoils of war.  When emotions run amok (and that is how this country was lead in the last 8 years on emotions) logic and reason have little time to work.

There in lies the rub too with political parties the emotion factor in their 'promises' to bring back what ever emotion that they are lead by to the people that request it.

See taxing companies that make an enordiate amount of money or contribute to green house gases is logical.  Then of course higher income individuals should too be taxed according to what they make.  That too is logical.

Then emotions come out - corporations 'will fall' if taxed the yadda yadda of how this will effect jobs.  That emotion is panic, and when panic comes that result is more panic and then jobs will indeed be lost.  Rather than find a logical and reasonable; rational response to cutting back on luxury which is not a constitutional right.

Just as panic is catchy so is cutting back on luxury; which isn't what is happening.

Same with people that make over a specified amount income; they loose that comfort of luxury and panic.

The one side claim this is fair; only due to it being a logical response to a money crisis, it falls scientifically towards an evolutionary concept of survival of the fittest.  It is a natural response to an empty wallet.  Said better, we no longer need that appendix due to having fruit and vegetables, it is a useless part of the body.  The body sometimes reacts to it; and it needs to be surgically removed in order to live.  Others, live with it without complicatons.

Now we see that other side; irrationally claiming it is un fair due to those that worked hard to get where they had gotten.  This is an emotional response into thinking that they will be 'next'.  That is panic and paranoia.  The reacton to the appendix going bad and saying feed me more antibiotics; I need my appendix.

That division is on emotions and since we have emotions that out cry of unamerican - socialism - tyrant - pork - etc.  That formerly in control group is spouting hatred and anger towards the newly in control.  Then, this pattern will repeat itself in reverse. That is the definition of insanity; and yet it continues.

I changed to the democratic party because that outcry of emotions or plead to the emotions when asking for 'your' vote has lessoned to a degree of being more logical and rational.  In spite of the namecalling.

*Education a money increase a necessity - what brings up a country is the amount they know specifically in science and technology which requires mathematical skills. This also increases logical thinking. Not who can kill who better.

*Money given to increase energy efficiency and alternate means of energy supply - makes sense again, surviving on other peoples source of energy makes a dependency on that peoples resource and creates animosity in our case created the war in Iraq and perhaps even the Taliban.  We 'need' them as people 'need' the heroin that The Taliban is so very much in charge of.  Hating the source of one's need isn't solving the problem of why that dependency occurred in the first place.

*Money towards healthcare big business again the pharmacutical companies, the people that sit behind desks making decisions on issues of health and who will get that transplant and who is not entitlied to the newly vamped high blood pressure medication without that co-payment.  The fittest are the ones that ultimately survive; increasing the chance through the medical fields and technology is again logical.  The emotional cry out as if the last cry of the Neanderthal claim this is socialism/pinko/liberal/communist.  Any plea to the emotions again illogical.  So maybe the people that are making a bundle of money on the beheast of the hmo/ghi will not be so overly salaried now that money and healthcare might have a chance to combine towards actual general health?  Doctors may be in charge over that person pushing papers behind a desk.

*The division of church and state; that wall of separation.  If big wig companies can no longer have their tax shelter in behest of giving to a organized religion what does that say about the organized religion?  Means that the people alone are not making that contribution themselves.  Government has no say in that a plea to the emotions just recently on the news.  Then next is an out cry of why can't my child pray in schools, why doesn't the child pray in the church?  That is my question.  There is a wall of separation that provides everyone the chance to pray or not pray in addition to believe or not believe - a universal 'belief' is not the democracy that forefathers created.  That was where the forefathers ran from.

These are the issues at hand; education I question why so concerned that more money which in case no one understands this did eventually come from federal funds to the states and cities and thus is constitutional, it was amended to the federal aspect by presidential decree a long time ago.

The question is why wouldn't a great country want the best education possible for all people?  Is there something to hide?

Why wouldn't people want to eliminate the dependency on another country for energy resources?

Why would people want to stand in the way of another's health?
