Recommendations for clubs / bars in Picadilly / Kings Cross

I will be visiting Picadilly to see a show in December, and will be staying in Kings Cross (Grays Inn Road). I am wondering where the nearest gay or lesbian bars / clubs are in these areas please? Any recommendations for two young beauties who will be glammed up to the nines?

Old Compton Street in Soho is very busy and buzzy all year round - and it's just a short walk from Piccadilly.
