1/8 pound is two ounces. If you buy them in the one pound box, with four wrapped stacks of crackers, then half a stack.
If you're talking Premium Saltines, one box is one pound. There are four packages of crackers in one box...each package would be 1/4 pound...half of one package should be 1/8th.
There is another way which quicker. All you have to do is 16 oz./1 x 1/8 oz.= 16 oz./8 oz., multiply by 8 on top and bottom. The answer is 2, so the answer is 2 oz. Who said that you didn't need algerbra in your later years.
Sorry where I said multiply by 8 is actually divide by 8.
