Rear wipers

Why do only cars with 5 doors have a rear wiper? sometimes I really feel that I miss my old car because of that.

I once heard that 5 (it can also be 3 by the way...:) doors car has more chance of getting its rear window filled with mud and dirt because of the window's relative angle to the ground. That's why they need rear wipers.
