Besides Google, there is Yahoo Search marketing and many more companies but I have never personally tried any of them. I use Google Adsense because Google have best technology to detect clicks. So, if i am bringing thousands of visitors daily, i am pretty sure that i will be getting paid for clicks.
I recommend you to join Google Adsense. My Friend, if you are not able to join or get accepted into the network, just try to create a new website with unique and quality content and update it daily for 1 month; and then apply to Google Adsense, they will approve you for sure.
