Hey,
Im a girl from Norway who really wants to get a real ranch experience in the U.S next year. It`s so many different ranches to read about on the internet, so I`m wondering if somebody have some good experiences they would like to share. (maybe from wyoming, colorado or montana?)
I will try to get a seasonal job on a ranch through the summer if possible
Here in Norway I`m working on a vetclinic, I have also experience with farmwork and a lot with horses.
I really appriciate all answers!

   I hope someone who read who owns a ranch has read your question.  Perhaps they can file  for a working visa for you.

   Or if you're not married, maybe put a personal ad in Match.com and hopefully you'll meet an owner of a ranch here in the U.S.

   You just don't know your luck.Smile

Hi Elize ,  Try the following job sites for ranchers .  I will also suggest you search the newspaper on line want ads in Wyoming , Colorado and Montana the three states you listed .  I also would not rule out Texas , Nebraska , Kansas and Oklahoma just to name a few more .  There are working ranches all over the United States ,  North , South , East and West .

   Hi I have not been riding in years, but you have two very good answers there, and if anyone knows horses it is Equus, the best on YEDDA when it comes to horses and riding I would think.
