R. Gordon's Comments Upset Sponsor

I think if it's one of your own sponsors you should be careful what you say about them.

Tony Stewart lamblasted Goodyear Tires after his race at Phoenix or Atlanta, I'm not sure which. I thought that was a bit bold.

I feel a sponsor has every right to withdraw their affiliation with anyone,for any reason, just as a driver has a right to speak  his/her opinion.

I believe its ok to agree to disagree, and act upon it as you see fit.

If Mr.Gordon, or any sponsor decides to act or speak out , it is their perrogative to do so.

Whining about things, and acting rash is consistant with human nature.It may be annoying, or seem childish, but it is a right I believe we all share.

One thing should be remembered though.........one must take responsibility for ones actions.

Are you talking about the Vanguard thing ???? If so the comments are an excuse there are reasons that start with an executive that was getting a perk to drive a dakar rally suport car and thats where the story should be picked up from not what Vangard or Vanguard is using for the reason they want money back. It started as a pissing contest and Vanguard will never see a dime even if they win in court. If this is what you are talking about you better do some investigating
