Question for Dentist's.

I am in severe pain and swollen from an abscess in my back lower left molar. I have been to the ER as I dont have insurance. Now the tooth isn't responding to the penicillin, its been 3 days and no change in my pain level or swelling. At this point does a dentist HAVE to treat me? I know I need to have the broken, rotten molar pulled.

Something that's become very popular now are dental discount plans. Many people think of these plans as cheap dental insurance, but technically they are not insurance plans.

You pay a low yearly fee, and can only go to dentists who accept the plans. But, depending on the procedure you're having done, you get a discount. Even if you just get regular checkups and cleaning, dental discount plans pay for themselves. In your case, they probably could have saved you hundreds of dollars.
