The road to nowhere is paved with good 'intentions'.

'A Question for Christians'...

"As a Christian", do you have a hard time standing up for what you Believe in?  And if so, why?

It has been a gradual process to stand up for Christ, but one that God always makes easier for us as we walk in faith. At first, I was a little embarrassed to talk about my faith. Then I realized that everyone I know has problems, stress, anger, hurt. And in Jesus I have the only answer that worked for me.

So now I welcome opportunities to tell people about my faith. If you know the location of an oasis, wouldn't you direct your friends in the desert to it?

What is hard for me now is to identify with common worldly passions, like television, sports, following entertainment personalities, stressing over politics. As a favorite songwriter, Derek Webb, says: My first allegiance is not to a flag, a country or a man. My first allegiance is not to democracy, or blood. It's to a King and a Kingdom."

No, I do not.  When you know the truth it is easy to tell it.

I need to talk. I have some really pressing questions. Do you know a lot about Christianity?  I guess you could say, I'm getting very confused about my Faith!

I'm quite sure I will get slammed by thumbs down in response to your sound advice.. which I do appreciate from you... but I still believe strongly in my Christian Faith. Not to keep friends, or because I feel trapped, I'm not confused about my love or solid unshakable belief in Jesus.. it's Religion, the Bible!  My Husband came to realize that I was discussing my beliefs with a group of people who don't believe that Jesus is who He says He is, and I was getting very upset.  When I read some of the responses he was getting back with his questions and comments,  I noticed that their Bible is different than ours!  And honestly, maybe I have been living under a rock.. but I don't understand how we all can have such different interpretations, all together different versions of one Bible!  Why has so much been added-- and parts been left out?  I love my Bible, I always have.. and now I don't know if I can trust it to be true! For any Bible to be true!  I am so confused by this.. sad and completely disgusted.

Where do you go, what do you Believe when you come to realize that every single Bible in the world has been tampered with to suit individual groups of people (probably to just set eachother apart) like GODS REAL CHOSEN ONES!  It makes me sick to know in my heart now, that every single one of us has been decieved through the Bible being Sabotaged by evil pretentious men over time!  From now on, Anyone who says to me that they have all the correct answers, that 'their Bible is the True Bible'.. I will Pray for..  and I hope they will all Pray for me too!  We have a real problem on our hands here folks.  I mean let's think about this..  GOD MUST BE FURIOUS!  I can feel it!

"But I am trusting you, O Lord, saying, 'You are my God! My future is in your hands.'" Ps. 31:14-15

Mm it used to be for me, but now i'm more comfortable sharing my faith because God is so good i cant hold it in! In school people ask me all the time about my faith and talking about God makes me so happy and i just love it. But i saw that you said you were struggling with things about God and if you need anyone to answer anymore of your question i'll def be more than happy to answer because finding out those answers can only bring you closer! I'm prayin for you dude!
