A Question for Chinese teachers

When we type Chinese characters why are they not recognized by epals? (They're appearing as ? only) I'm sure there are other Chinese teachers out there who would like to connect with overseas Chinese so their students can practice typing Chinese characters. Thanks

Hello Steve

Your question can refer to any language that uses a different character set other than English letters.  While ePals' support page refers to Japanese characters, the same premise can be applied to other character sets - it's all in how you configure your computer to read incoming messages, websites, etc.

Beause computer character code is diffrent if u set the utf-8 it not ? you can writ chinese Great  I like China !
