The best place to stop perfume evaporation is to spray it on the areas you plan on covering with cloths, especially tight ones. This way there is less scent evaporation and you will smell better for a longer period of time.

You should spray on other parts of you body as well, mainly the neck and hands because these places are usually the areas that some one will smell you.

I have a good tip to add to shine's words place some behind your ears and on the back of your neck . People who hug you and say hi will automatically notice your scent.

As a little girl I was taught to put perfume on my "pulse points" (i.e. wrists and neck) but I've found that applying certain scents directly to the skin makes it evaporate very quickly (especially for my scents since I tend to wear lighter, airier eau de toilette's and not parfum).  I like to spray my perfume over my clothes instead of on my skin, it lasts much longer.  If you are a man wearing cologne, dab it on your neck instead since cologne's tend to be very heavy. It really depends on the scent. If it's got a high concentration of fragrance (eau de parfum or parfum) then I would recommend just a dab on the wrists and neck, but for a lighter, cleaner eau de toilette, spray onto clothes for longer lasting fragrance.

I agee with the previous posts. Efficient ways to putting on perfume include applying it on your pulse points and underneath your clothes.

For effective application, use a line of scent products. Start with a body wash. Then apply the lotion. Follow up with the perfume. This kind of coverage is sure to provide back up if you use a eau de toilette or a product with a lot of alcohol.

Hope this helps!

Spray perfume on a comb and comb your hair, especially if you have hair below.  Also, under the breast is the best keep secret because women tends to sweat a lot there, producing a more natural smell....
