While driving in the Cumberland, Maryland area and more recently between Cumberland and Columbus, Ohio I have seen purple 3 sided containers hanging from trees at the edge of the road. I have no idea if they are taking air samples, insect samples or what but I am really puzzled as to what they are being used for.
